"Hoto Noodles" are said to have been popularized for the purpose by the famous military ruler, Shingen Takeda, for their health benefits.  You can enjoy not only traditional flavor, but also unique variations, such as spicy or cheesy flavors.
Be sure to try pork cutlets made with "Crystal Pork", a premium brand of pork from Yamanashi.

武田信玄が広めたといわれる「ほうとう」は、ピリ辛味やチーズ入りなどの変わり種も人気。山梨のブランド豚「クリスタルポーク」を使ったとんかつもぜひ食べたい一品。

A cafe run by a peach farmer.  Summer is peach season, and you can enjoy desserts made with plenty of fresh peaches picked in the morning.    Chilled parfaits and smoothies are highly recommended for hot summer days.  Booking is required.

桃農家が営むカフェ。パフェやスムージーなど、朝採れの新鮮な桃を使ったデザートが楽しめる。要予約。

A temple located at the foot of Mt. Daizoukyoji.  It houses many cultural assets, including buddhist paintings designated as the National Important Cultural Property.  Jyuroson, a deity of longevity, is enshrined here, and visitors are welcome to worship at any time.  The beautifully landscaped garden, perfect for a leisurely stroll, is also a highlight.

大蔵経寺山のふもとにある寺。国の重要文化財の仏画など数多くの文化財が保管されている。寿老尊（寿命の神様）が祀られており、いつでも参拝可能。美しい庭園も見所。

Jewelry processing is a local industry of Yamanashi. Rare gemstones from around the world are exhibited, including a massive amethyst and rare fluorescent minerals.  "Gemstone Hunting" is a popular activity for both kids and adults, where participants search for gemstones hidden among colorful rubber chips in a box (30-minute activity).  An on-site store offers a variety of accessories and gemstones both for wearing and display.

ジュエリー加工は山梨の地場産業。世界中から集められた珍しい天然石を展示している。大人も子供も楽しめる「オトナ＆わんぱく宝石探し」は、カラフルなゴムチップの入った箱の中から宝石を見つける人気の体験（所要時間 30分）。売店では、アクセサリーや観賞用の石も販売。

A Sushi restaurant cherished by local residents.  A master, who has trained in Tokyo, serves a variety of dishes.  In addition to Sushi made with fresh seafood, the freshly fried Tempura and Japanese-style omelet are also popular.  You can also enjoy Yamanashi wine.
